false positive

What does log.txt say?
BTW, are you sure you need GL2 rendering? Cuz I disabled it as default.

Thankfully, new android build will cockblock you if you failed to put rpa correctly.

What do you mean by Inside the file?

It should be inside game folder which is inside the folder with saves.

Check tropicali_demo.rpa filesize. It should be at least 1.66 GB

To be sure you can check traceback.txt.

If it says about Error -5 while decompressing data, you have corrupted rpa-file

Please check tropicali_demo.rpa file size. It should be 1.66 GB.

Somehow, you are not a first who encountered this problem

Next time try to not ignore installation guide

Are you sure you followed ALL steps from video guide?

Seems like you failed to put tropicali_demo.rpa to /Documents/RenPy_Saves/com.lightningroosterprouctions.wplrfx.tropicali/game. Also, you should have to see An exception has occured screen, which you probably ignored.

Fun fact: it was written this way. Changed to please whiny dorks. Though they are still whining.

Yeah, it's simply [DATA EXPUNGED]

Yes, there is a way

If report from VirusTotal will ease your suspicions: There is only one detection (probably false positive) caused by requirements for files writing

Just checked the archive from itch. It should have three files: com.lightningroosterprouctions.wplrfx.tropicali-release.apk, ReadMe.txt and tropicali_demo.rpa.

Are you sure you downloaded tropicali_demo_0.4_android.zip archive?

Yeah, Android is very paranoid about the file system access. Especially since I used RenPy Archive as resources storage to bypass .apk size limitation (2 GB) which is placed in Internal Storage, not Android/data folder, it might cause false positive detection from some AV software.

Though, if this bothers you, you still can use PC build and JoiPlay.

I have a feeling it's already here

Uhhh... If you have a file archiver software which supports unpacking apk, then you are good.

No, it's ongoing. 41 chapters of 100

Probably, the RAM shortage is a problem. You need about 2GB free RAM just for installing apk for asset bundle installer.

Try to unpack asset bundles from .apk-files on your PC manually, and then copy them to your device.

Main apk shouldn't have such issue, I guess
